Catholic Central High Team History: Catholic Central had a strong 2025–26 season, going undefeated in league play and capturing the South Zone Championship without dropping a match. The Cougars opened the year ranked No. 1 in 4A after the first ranking period and held the top position throughout the season. Their consistent play, depth, and resilience have defined their road to the championship as they enter the 4A Provincial Tournament as the top-ranked team.
Ecole McTavish High School Team History: The McTavish Boys have been prepping for this season for 3 years! They had a tremendous season preparing for Provs, only dropping two matches all year, and winning 4 tournaments and finish 2nd once. The Marauders look forward to playing the best of the best at Provincials! Thanks everyone for coming to our home, we hope you enjoy the event.
Foothills Composite Team History: The Falcons have had a very successful season where they have been ranked as high as #5 in Alberta. They won their Foothills Athletic League where they went undefeated! The Falcons finished second in the south central zone tournament.
Grande Prairie Composite Team History: The Grande Prairie Composite Phoenix is excited to be attending the 2025 4A provincials. This is the first provincial competition the Sr. Boys volleyball has had since the school’s opening in 2023. Despite the disruption to the season the Sr. Boy’s team finished with a record of 19-6. The team is excited to bring their energy and positive game play to Fort McMurray to compete amongst the best 4A teams in the province.

Memorial Composite High School Team History: The Memorial Composite High School Senior Men's Volleyball team continues to build a strong volleyball culture driven by commitment, teamwork, and continuous improvement. This season’s roster features a number of returning athletes who provide leadership and consistency, helping elevate the play of our emerging athletes. In recent years, the team has taken significant strides to be a program that remains focused on competing with class, representing our school.
Mother Margaret Mary Team History: Our team played to a 3-1 record in the regular season before defeating St. Francis Xavier in straight sets, followed by a 5 set win over Strathcona Christian in the semi-finals. We defeated Louis St. Laurent in a 5 set game to win the Metro Division 2 championship.
Notre Dame (Red Deer) Team History: Notre Dame Sr Boys Volleyball team has had a strong season through the combination of confident Grade 10 rookies and capable graduating Grade 12s. A Bronze Medal at the RDP Fall Classic and a Silver in the Central Zone Finals helped Notre Dame qualify for Provincials.

St. Albert Catholic High Team History: The Skyhawks Senior Boys team enter provincials after a unique and hard-fought season. Despite a three-week pause in the middle of our schedule, the team showed resilience, focus, and determination from start to finish. Since returning to the court, the team has worked tirelessly to rebuild momentum. Players have pushed through injuries, stepped up in new ways, and have come back firing on all cylinders. The group is proud of the journey that brought them here.
St. Joseph High School (Red Deer)
St. Mary (Calgary) Team History: St Mary’s SAINTS are excited to represent Calgary zone in 2025 - a season that disappeared in October but was preceded by a very successful tournament schedule with three finals and a 22-5 record. Coach Meadows’ Saints team is loaded with talent led by many grade 12s completing their tenure with Saints.
Strathmore High Team History: The Strathmore Spartans started off their first year in 4A in with a hot start taking a tournament win at the University of Augustana, followed by a third place finish at the University of Alberta tournament where they competed against some of the best 5A teams in the province. Upon returning from the break, the guys were right back into form winning our own Home Tournament on Halloween weekend. The guys are very excited to be here in our first year at this level and cant wait!
4A Girls Volleyball Provincials Program

Bev Facey Community Team History: After a rocky start to the season, the girls came back strong in the latter part of the season, earning them a berth at provincials. Bev Facey Community High School is very proud of this group of girls. Go Falcons!
Bishop Carroll Team History: Won the Division 2 Senior Girls Volleyball City Championship in Calgary.
Catholic Central High Team History: Catholic Central had a competitive 2025–26 season, finishing tied for second in league play and earning second place at the South Zone Championship. The Cougars began the year as an Honourable Mention but, through steady improvement and strong performances in both league and tournament play, climbed to No. 2 in the final 4A rankings. They enter the Provincial Tournament as the fifth seed.
Cochrane High School Team History: The Cochrane Cobras volleyball program has established itself as one of the premier high school teams in Alberta. In 2025, the Cobras captured the Rocky View Divisional Championship, showcasing their depth, discipline, and competitive spirit throughout the season. Their strong play continued into the postseason, earning a second-place finish at the 2025 South-Central Zone Tournament.

Ecole McTavish High School Team History: Throughout the season, our team has continuously showed what it means to be resilient. From start to finish, this team has demonstrated grit and determination. We won our home tournament, 2nd at Lillian Osbourne, and 3rd at St. FX. We are excited to be here and competing with the best, where we belong!
Foothills Composite Team History: The Falcons have had a very successful season in which they have won two tournaments throughout the season. They won their Foothills Athletic League where they went undefeated. The Falcons won the South Central Zone tournament, going undefeated. The Falcons overall record throughout the season is 33-2 as the enter the Provincial Championships!
Grande Prairie Composite Team History: Our season has been an incredibly successful one, especially for such a young team carrying six Grade 10 athletes. Every tournament and every touch on the ball has helped us grow, strengthen our skills, and build our confidence. This group has shown remarkable dedication, resilience, and teamwork throughout the year. We are proud to be heading into our second 4A Provincial Championship appearance in the last ten years.

Medicine Hat High Team History: The Medicine Hat High School Hawks started off the 2025 season with a trip to Vancouver, where they placed first in the Blue Division. They followed that up with another tournament win at the LCI Green & Gold Invitational. The Hawks finished their regular season with a 7-1 record, winning the Prairie Sky Conference and being crowned the 4A South Zone Champions.
Notre Dame (Red Deer) Team History: Notre Dame Sr Girls Volleyball team is made up of an even spread between grade 10, 11, 12. The ND Cougars Girls team finished with a SSA ranking of 4th in 4A, a first place finish at SJHS Air Attack Tournament, and a hard fought silver medal for the central zone.
St. Albert Catholic High Team History: The SACHS Sr. Girls Volleyball team had a strong & exciting season! They opened the year with an impressive start, finishing 5th at the Tri-Volley Tournament and winning gold at the Lacombe Tournament. The team delivered a standout performance in the playoffs losing a tough five set semi-final. We are looking forward to represent our school at 4A Volleyball Provincials.
