Barrhead Composite Team History: The Senior Gryphon girls had a strong season with multiple top 4 finishes at tournaments. Going undefeated in their last two weeks of play. Highlights for the season would be raising over $300.00 at our home tournament for the oncology department at the Barrhead hospital, that services northern Alberta. Trick or treating down in Strathmore and spending time together as a team.
Beaverlodge Regional Team History: The Beaverlodge Royals enjoyed a successful, albeit very short, season this year. We attended and placed in 4 tournaments and were able to organize a few scrimmages with teams in our area. We are very excited and grateful to be attending the 3A Girls’ volleyball provincials.
Central Alberta Christian Team History: The CACHS Knights put together a consistent season, earning the Central Zone title and winning their home tournament, along with a second-place finish at the Pandas Tournament and third at the RDP Tournament. Their toughest opponent throughout the year was Lindsay Thurber, giving the team valuable experience against high-level competition. The Knights are so excited and can’t wait to meet the competition at this 3A provincials!
Crescent Heights (Medicine Hat) Team History: The Vikings arrived at provincials by defending their 2024 South Zone title by defeated the McCoy Colts in a thrilling 5 set match to repeat as South Zone Champions. We have had tremendous success this season, having won gold in all 6 tournaments we competed in! A key highlight would be winning the Medicine Hat High tournament as we were able to win against a number of ranked 4A and 5A schools.

Edmonton Christian Team History: The Edmonton Christian Lions are excited to represent the 3A Zone at this year's Provincial Championships in Grande Prairie. This is our first time as 3A representatives as our school has historically been a 2A school with a population of 290 students. This year's team is young with only 1 grade 12 player on the roster. Although we are young we plan to challenge our opponents to some great volleyball and have a great experience as well.
Holy Rosary Team History: The Raiders season is defined by growth, resilience, and being the hardest working team in the gym. From the first serve of the season to the last point at zones this group showed what it means to commit to each other, push through challenges, and improve day by day. By the end of the season, the transformation was clear. This wasn’t just a group that played volleyball together, it became a team that believed in one another and their collective abilities.
Monsignor McCoy High Team History: This season was one to remember for the Colts. The girls placed in the top three at every tournament we entered, including several first-place wins and strong second-place finishes. We travelled a lot of kilometers all over Alberta. Our defining moment came in zone playoffs, where we went point-for-point in an intense game against the top-ranked team in the province, ultimately securing a proud second-place finish in our zone.
Notre Dame (Bonnyville) Team History: Highlights of the year include qualifying for the medal round and the 2025 Tri-Volley tournament in Sherwood Park, a silver medal at the Sturgeon invitational, and winning gold at the Rocky Mountain Classic.

Peace Wapiti Academy Team History: The Titans are a young group poised to keep improving. They won the Edwin Par tournament and placed second in the Barrhead invitational. The team is starting to peak at the right time and are full of confidence heading into this years provincial championships.
Rundle College Team History: Rundle College SV Grils had a very successful season finishing with a 9-2 record and tied for first place in their league. Throughout the year they were able to secure two bronze medals and a silver medal during tournament play. The team wrapped up their season winning the Calgary Zone banner and gold medal.
Springbank High Team History: The girls were able to win an exciting match in the South Central zone finals to win zones and advance to provincials.
St. Joseph Catholic (Grande Prairie) Team History: The Ceinahs are excited to host and compete at 3A Provincials this year.
