Fairview High School Team History: This year, these athletes have been a force to be reckoned with. The last time Fairview High School won the Northwest Zone Championship was 19 years ago, back in 2005, coached by Heather Kerschbaumer, an FHS alum. Not a single player on this team was even born yet the last time it happened! These young women haven’t just made history—they’ve written a brand-new chapter in Fairview High School volleyball!"
Immanuel Christian Secondary School Team History: The Immanuel Christian Eagles had an outstanding and competitive season. They finished 2nd at the Central Alberta Christian School Tournament and earned 3rd place at both the Prairie Winds and Super South Volleyball Tournaments—where they pushed the top 5A team in the province and defeated a provincially ranked 4A team to secure third. The Eagles went undefeated in Deep South Volleyball league play and battled hard to claim 2nd in the South Zone.
Magrath School Team History: The road to the 2A zone championship was one that was not one that was well-paved or often travelled. Our Pandas compete in a 4A/5A league and it was a bit rough at times. However, the consistent beatings helped prepare us all season to play at a high level, a level that allwed the Pandas to go through the 2A south zone tournament with an unblemished record, dropping not sets to any team in the tournament.
