Bearspaw Christian School Team History: The Bearspaw Christian School Senior Boys battled with heart all season, showing grit, growth, and an unwavering work ethic. Every match—win or loss—was a result of them pushing themselves, trusting each other, and committing to the process. Their success this season is a testament to months of hard work, resilience, and belief.
Immanuel Christian Secondary School Team History: The Eagles enjoyed a successful season and are excited to be back competing at 2A Boys Provincials. The team racked up 3rd Place finishes at the Lethbridge Polytechnic Tournament, Coaldale Prairie Winds (3A) and Central Alberta Christian (3A). A third place finish in the Deep South Volleyball League and second place showing at the South Zone tournament leads the team into this weekend.
Jasper Jr/Sr High Team History: After winning a competitive, hard fought, 10 Team Zone Tournament, the Jasper Jr/Sr High School/ Ecole Desrochers Cougars are extremely proud to represent the North Central Zone at Provincials for a 4th consecutive Year. In an abbreviated season the team went 21-8, medaling in 4 of 5 tournaments entered. Congratulations and respect to all of the qualifiers! Play well, good luck, and enjoy every moment!
La Crete Public School Team History: All season, they’ve learned on their chemistry and calm under pressure, finding ways to rise in crucial moments. Their journey to provincials isn’t just about talent; it’s about commitment, teamwork, and a shared belief that they still have more to give.

Oilfields High Team History: The Oilfields Drillers Volleyball team, are a mix of Grade 11 and 12 athletes, who showcased their athleticism and determination throughout the season. Competing against some of the top 2A teams in the province pushed them to elevate their game and embrace every challenge. Their commitment to learning, competing, and supporting one another helped them finish the season playing their best volleyball yet.
Parkland Immanuel Christian Team History: Our road to provincials has been a fun ride. We started off with league play in Edmonton, where we opened the season with a 4–1 record before league play was paused. We competed in two tournaments early in the year. Throughout the season, our boys have risen to tough competition and controlled play well in more favourable matchups, earning multiple 3–0 wins in league play. We are excited to represent the Edmonton Zone at the 2025 2A Provincials.
Prairie Christian Academy Team History: The PCA Sabres team is very excited to be hosting the 2A Boys Volleyball Provincials this year. We ended last season with a great learning experience at provincials, which motivated us to come back stronger this year. With 6 returning players we started the season strong with tournament wins in Camrose, Oilfields and our home tournament. It's been encouraging to watch this team grow together and challenge themselves to be better each game.
St. Carlo Acutis Catholic High School Team History: Undefeated in League, Augustana BP Classic Semi-Finalists, STCA Showdown Semi-Finalists, ECCHS East Side Marios Finalists.
Volleyball - Stringam
St. Jerome Team History: The St. Jerome Spartans have had a very exciting 2025 season. Even though this season had its challenges the team was always able to rise up and respond. This season marks a provincial berth 3 years in a row for the Spartans, highlighted by our schools first 2A North East zone banner. The Spartans can't wait to test themselves against the best 2A teams in the province and wish all the Provincial teams the best of luck this weekend. Go Spartans Go!
St. Michael (Pincher Creek) Team History: The St. Michael's Dragons have started to peak at the right time. They have battled in some tough tournaments this shortened season and have continued to get better as the season progresses. We look forward to an exciting and fun tournament in Three Hills topped with some solid volleyball competition! Best of luck to all of the players and coaches that have made it this far into the 2025 season!
Three Hills School Team History: Three Hills School has had a great season competing against many provincially ranked programs throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan. They competed at the Red Deer Polytechnic, Home, Camrose, Lloydminster Comprehensive, Strathmore Comprehensive and Brooks St. Joseph's Tournaments. This allowed them to play against provincially ranked 2A-5A competition all season long with many significant wins along the way.
Webber Academy Team History: The Webber Academy Wildcats had a terrific season record of 25 wins and 6 losses. The Wildcats are looking forward to facing new competition at the provincial tournament and hope to have to chance to compete for the provincial title. The players would like to thank their parents, the school administration, the Calgary Independent Schools Athletics Association, and School Sport Alberta for their support and the opportunity to compete in this year’s provincial tournament.
